The Formal Garden provides perennial and annual installations with maintenance services to residential and corporate clients in the Columbus area. We are a small company known for our horticultural knowledge, unique and personalized designs, and commitment to client satisfaction.

This job is a SEASONAL Spring, Summer, and Fall job.
Our season starts in March and ends mid-December. Expect to work 40 hours per week the entire season. Continued work is available depending on productivity and commitment level. We love to have experienced team members return the following season.
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
Work hours are usually 8:00 - 4:30, Monday through Friday for a full-time position.
Weekly hours may vary slightly due to weather and season.
What Else....
We hire GOOD PEOPLE and train them HOW to do the work.
(Instead of finding folks who already know the work and train them how to be GOOD PEOPLE...Spoiler alert: thet second way doesn't work.)
Requirements:
- This job requires physical activity, full body movement, and use of a variety of tools and equipment.
- Ability to carry 30-50 lbs periodically.
- Working outside in ALL weather (except tornadoes, lightning, extreme temperatures).
- Professionalism and maturity; including being reliable, respectful, punctual, polite, and kind.
- Team focused mindset with thorough results-based performance.
- Appreciation of garden landscaping and willingness to learn field specific skills.
- Drug free work environment.
- Driver's License (preferred).
- Reliable transportation to and from main office (near John Glenn Airport).
- All new employees are subject to a 30 day trial period and assessment.
